I think the red line on the map refers to the path you'd follow if you were moving the raid through the named spawn spots. It's largely irrelevant for the method we use, though if you ignore the arrows it highlights the corridors monks will run along more or less.
To get here: Zone into Crypt of Decay from Plane of Tranquility. Turn around, and click the throne. This will put you in the central courtyard shown above. To zone out, click the obelisk in the center of the courtyard.
We set up camp in the NW corner of the center courtyard. The event starts by killing the Spectre of Corruption who is in the circular room West of the Courtyard. Once the spectre dies, you have (2 hours?) to kill the 12 kings and Bertox himself.
The kings spawn when a certain number of trash are killed. Their spawn points are indicated above by a green square. According to Carsiss on Monkly Business, kings start spawning after about 40 mobs are killed. Once they start spawning, they spawn relatively quickly. The last 4 spawn simultaneously. I have heard that it is possible to spawn multiple kings on the same spot, obviously this would be a bad thing. When each king spawns, there is a zonewide emote.
The only trick to pulling the event, is that when a King spawns, he spawns with trash mobs on the same spot. To avoid training the raid every time a king is pulled, one monk tags the king and runs him and his adds away from the raid while another monk lays feigned near the king's spawn spot. The first monk (puller) then feigns(or dies), and the second monk (tagger) pulls the king when he comes back to his spawn spot.
To coordinate the pulling/tagging of the Kings, Pick set up a pattern. If I remember correctly, the puller goes RIGHT, and the tagger goes LEFT. This direction is in relation to facing the King room that's being pulled. The relative positions of the tagger and puller are marked on the map as T and P, respectively. These are not precise positions, they just indicate which side of the room each monk should be on.
For example, if a King spawns NORTH, the puller takes the RIGHT tunnel on the north wall, and gets to the spot marked P. The tagger takes the LEFT tunnel on the north wall, and gets to the spot marked T. When both monks are in position, the puller aggroes the named and his friends and pulls them away from the spawn point. When pulling the North and South rooms, this means pulling back toward the raid. Be very careful that you do not pull them too close to the raid. As soon as the King returns and is relatively solo, the tagger aggroes him and runs back to the raid. It is very important to shout INCOMING
For the east and west King spawns spots, once the king is single, he can be pulled by running into the room and then directly into the courtyard. For the north and south king spawn spots, this is obviously not possible.
Consent a rogue immediately when you die, if possible tell him/her which wing you died in. This usually means Norfolk and/or Dezray.
